Friendships

When a friendship ends or permanently changes we expect ourselves to just get over it. We understand it's time to move forward and that it wasn't a romantic relationship so it doesn't need to take up brain space...but losing a friendship hurts!! You can't just skip over those feelings, the body always knows.

Realistically as we evolve people don't always grow with us. This is a hard truth especially when you feel like you have tried your best. It hurts. Give these feelings air to breath.

Write a journal entry, meditate, go on a long walk, talk with another trusted friend, and explore the situation and your feelings without any judgement. Let your truth settle. Only once you have fully acknowledged your whole truth, will you be able to move through it and begin to heal.

The beautiful thing about loss is that it opens space in your heart for something more. Something even deeper and more aligned is on it's way to you, because you have a greater understanding of what you want. Don't be in a rush to fill that space, good things take time, and my sweetness, you are worthy of something great!
