COMMON QUESTIONS

People often
ask me.

What should I wear and how should I prepare?

Wear something comfortable and come as you are. Drink water beforehand and if possible give yourself a little time afterwards rather than rushing back into a busy day. The body continues integrating after we finish.

How many sessions will I need?

This varies for everyone. Some people notice meaningful shifts after 2–3 sessions. Others come regularly over a longer period as part of an ongoing practice. We'll talk about what makes sense for you as we go, there's no pressure to commit to anything upfront.

Do I need to know what I want to work on?

Not at all. Many clients arrive simply knowing something isn't right, without being able to name it. That's completely fine, and honestly quite common. The body will show us where to start.

Are sessions in person or online?

Sessions are automatically set for in person, however they are available online via Zoom when requested. All relevant information will be provided by email once your booking has been confirmed.

What is the difference between Reiki and Kinesiology?

Reiki is a passive practice where a practitioner channels healing energy to you, and your body receives what it needs. Kinesiology is more investigative, using muscle testing to have a direct conversation with your nervous system.

Can kinesiology work alongside my existing therapy or medical care?

Yes, absolutely. Kinesiology is a complementary practice and works well alongside psychology, GP care, and other modalities. I always encourage clients to continue with any existing professional support they have in place.

What if I feel emotional during or after a session?

That's completely normal and often a sign that something real is moving. Emotions may surface during the session or in the days following, this is the body processing and releasing. I'll always check in with you before you leave, and you're welcome to reach out afterwards if anything comes up.

Do you work with chidren or teens?

At this stage I work with children and teens on a referral basis only, meaning I'd need to already have an existing relationship with someone in their family. If you're a current or past client and feel your child or teenager could benefit, I'd love to have that conversation.

What is the cancellation policy?

To respect my time and others', please give at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may incur a $50 cancellation fee.
